Stages of discussion:
- In Surah 28 verse 41, What did Allah mean when he said وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَدْعُونَ إِلَى النَّارِ? Who are the Imams going to hell?
- What did Allah mean in Surah 9 verse 12 فَقَاتِلُوا أَئِمَّةَ الْكُفْرِ / then fight the leaders of unbelief [kufr]? Who are the Imams of Kufr?
- What did Allah mean in Surah 21 verse 73 وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ / And We made them Imams who guided (people) by Our command, and We revealed to them the doing of good? What did Allah mean when he said we made the Imams who guide by our command, and we reveal to them the good deeds? Can wahi [revelation] be used for an Imam or only for a Prophet?
- What happens when you fight the Imam of your time? Are you still a Muslim or no? And how about those who say on the Day of Jamal, those who fought Ali Ibn Abi Taleb, have done Ijtihad, but they went about this in the wrong way? Is this a plausible arguement?
- What did Imam Sadiq say when this aya was revealed when he was explaining it’s tafseer; يَوۡمَ نَدۡعُواْ ڪُلَّ أُنَاسِۭ بِإِمَـٰمِهِمۡۖ ? What did he say the aya meant?
- What are some ways which we can give Bayyaa to the Imam of Our Time, if we can not see him?
