Sheikh Mohammed Al-Hilli is a renowned Islamic speaker and researcher, and has delivered lectures across the world on themes ranging from Spirituality, Quranic Sciences and Ethics. Sheikh Al-Hilli was born in Kadhimiyya (Baghdad, Iraq) in 1978. As a child he moved with his family to Iran and later on his family relocated again to the UK. In London, Sh. Al-Hilli completed his secondary and higher education studies, going on to graduate with a Masters Degree in Pharmacy from the University of London. He was elected President of Islamic Society in university for two years, organizing a variety of events and also promoting inter-faith activities, highlighting a unifying and encompassing approach. He is passionate about providing youth services, and went on to be Chairman of the Islamic Unity Society, an organization catering to Muslim students at UK universities for 4 years.
He studied with several prominent and respected Scholars in Islamic Studies, completing his Hawza degree from the International College for Islamic Sciences under the supervision of Ayatollah Fadhil Milani. During this time, he studied a variety of disciplines including Theology, Quranic exegesis, logic, Principles of Islamic jurisprudence, Fiqh, history, Arabic Morphology and Sciences of Hadith. He is a teacher at the Hawza Programme at Islamic College in London. He also has an MA in Islamic Studies from Middlesex University via Islamic College.
