Mohammad Saeed Bahmanpour

Mohammad Saeed Bahmanpour is lecturer of Islamic Studies at the Islamic College for Advanced Studies, London, and a visiting lecturer at the University of Cambridge, Faculty of Oriental Studies. He was raised in Iran, studied at Queen Mary College London, the London School of Economics and the Allameh Tabatabai University in Tehran. He is Editor-in-Chief of Echo of Islam, a cultural and political monthly magazine, and Message of Thaqalayn, a quarterly magazine on Shiite thought and history. He holds a BA and an MA in Sociology from Allameh Tabatabai University, Tehran. He has produced a film on Mary in the Islamic tradition.
